Shortwave Broadcaster aka Keith Canisius, Rumskib has always had ambient pieces on his dream pop records. So after diving quite heavily into artist like William Basinski, Tim Hecker, & Steve Reich, he thought, "Why not create a project dedicated to exploring this side of music only?"

On this EP, we get introduced to a heavy dream of ambient sounds and moods coming from the joy and love of creating and experimenting.

The name Shortwave Broadcaster is inspired by Milton William Cooper, who went by the same name when he was broadcasting shortwave radio before his assassination in 2001.

“Cooper caused a sensation in Ufology circles in 1988, when he claimed to have seen secret documents while in the Navy describing governmental dealings with Extraterrestrial aliens..”
