Sonically this feels like a hazy daydream.
Multiple Synth waves & swirling guitar melodies create sonic cathedrals of noise pop flurries.
I would coin the term "Dream-Gaze" to describe sound on this release.
Definitely has an 80's & 90's "4AD" vibe to it and not in a bad way.
The song samples on Bandcamp aren't even the best ones on the LP.
Stream it for yourself to see what I mean. Favorite track: I Knew It Was Wrong But I Did It Anway.

about

Created as an experimental solo project and gradually developing into a band around a series of self-released singles and EPs, The History Of Colour TV¹s songs advance in cascading duels of pop-sense versus noise-texture.

The bands debut LP 'Emerald Cures Chic Ills' is propelled by a sonic charge of overdriven guitars, primitive drums and synth-induced soundscapes, the band interweave themes of sorrow and euphoria to form a glimmering evocation of a daydream, in which the past has yet to be and the future has been forgotten.

The History Of Colour TV formed in late 2010 in Berlin, where they are based to this day.
